The Majors program is for players who are League Age 11 and 12 (typically, 5th & 6th graders). This is the most competitive and advanced level for Little League played on a field with 60-foot base paths. There is a greater focus on skills and strategy. A skills tryout is required. Players are drafted to teams by managers and coaches based on tryouts and player evaluations from prior season(s). All League Age 12-year-olds play Majors, as do highly skilled and more advanced League Age 11-year-olds. League Age 11-year-olds who are not drafted to a Majors team will be placed on a Minors team. Teams are eligible for post-season tournaments. Players may be selected for All-Stars based on their ages.
