The Rookie program is for players who are League Age 5 and 6, (typically, pre-K and Kindergarten students).  Entry level play, focusing on fundamentals and basic rules of baseball. Players participate in one practice and one game each week.  A soft baseball is used, players bat off a tee, all players bat and play in the field, with no strikes, no outs, and no score...just plenty of FUN!!  Regardless of prior playing experience, all 6 year olds play Rookie.  Contact Rookie Commissioner Cara Porter at [email protected] with any questions about Rookie League.
